Enteric neurons, aka somatic postmitotic cells, must hold on to their sex identity tight, to deliver a tuned response to signals from the ovary that instruct the animal to engage sex-matched behavioural programmes.

In normally growing juveniles, semaglutide improves glucose control without affecting growth.
But in stunted mice, it further impairs linear growth, revealing a key interplay between energy metabolism and the somatotropic axis during development.
Mechanistic, not clinical!
Delighted to share that our work has just been accepted in the Journal of the Endocrine Society π€©
Ever wondered if semaglutide can interfere with growth? Check it out!
