I don’t normally go out and do any Black Friday shopping but I saw that select Switch games were going to be half off at retail stores so I had to go out and grab a copy of Super Mario Odyssey for $30. Really excited to add this one in my small but growing physical Switch collection.

Even though the price for this is a little high and I already have the first game on the Mario 3D All-Stars release I had to grab Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 today. I hear the remastering is better than the Mario 3D All-Stars version and it’s nice to have both games together in a physical release.

I got to play Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate with Kaho Shibuya again on her stream yesterday! This time I got to play with her and other members of her chat for very close to three hours and it was so much fun! I’m really enjoying her DLC content for the game too

The Turbo Kid video game is out now on Nintendo Switch! The game is a pixel art Metroidvania with a story that takes place after the events of the 2015 cult classic movie, Turbo Kid. The game also features a new soundtrack by Le Matos who also did the soundtrack for the movie.
The combo of seeing his name in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the Gusty Garden music hit me in the feels when I first saw the movie.
The video covers Iwata being a founding member of HAL Laboratory, his assistance in the saving/completion of various classic video games (Joust, Balloon Fight, Kirby's Dream Land, Mother 2/Earthbound, Pokemon games), creating the Nintendo Direct, and (most importantly) making games fun for everyone.

I got the Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate standard physical release a couple of months ago from the @rocketpandagames.bsky.social store and it came with an instruction manual, lenticular magnet, trading card, and exclusive DLC.
I finally found a copy of Super Mario 3D All-Stars for a very reasonable price! I now have the dilemma of whether I should start playing the games off stream or should I wait for when I return to streaming?

A couple of cool video game themed/flavored G Fuel energy drinks I spotted at my local Dollar Tree recently. I would have liked to try them (especially the Mega Man one) but I generally don’t like energy drinks so I passed on them.
