Yeah, I hate this feeling of distrust for any new controller. Playing Switch 2, I always have this worry in the back of my mind, that the sticks are going to start drifting any second.

Yeah, I hate this feeling of distrust for any new controller. Playing Switch 2, I always have this worry in the back of my mind, that the sticks are going to start drifting any second.
Unfortunately, my Ps5 controller seems to be pretty sensitive to drift as well. I've gotten really used to disassembling the controller to clean the analogue parts.
Your comics are a delight, a joy even.
Saying this while a lot of people have just, once again, been chewed up and spat out by the industry.
Shinji Mikami has a new studio? With plans to make both big and mid-budget games? Hopefully, this one won't get chewed up and spat out by the industry.
Parasite Eve ποΈ
An edit of a panel from a Spider-Man/X-Men crossover comics. Spider-Man says: "You own several nukes, and you're trying to sell monsters? But you could just sell the nukes!" Sauron answers: "But I don't want to sell nukes. I want to turn sell monsters."
they're basically doing this:
The best part is that one of the listings has the price negotiable, like they can't even sell the things. AND then it's revealed that Umbrella had nukes! Which, according to quick googling, cost 500 million per missile. Just sell those!
Then you find the auction listings in the lab and it's like "Tyrant - 10 million." And according to lore they managed to make like 3 functional tyrants at the time of the auction, one which was a prototype that had its heart outside the body.
Not to mention the cost of their private military force, which has to be regularly replaced due to them getting killed in monster outbreaks. That gear isn't cheap either, and then there's all the bribery and hush money. It's Billions and billions, right?
What I find really funny in RE9 is near the end, where you can find auction listings for the monsters, and like how much do you think Umbrella has spent, building several lab installations under the bedrock of cities or inside mountains or privately owned islands or whatever.

Amazing work. Would feel right at home in a mid 90's arcade.
An older idle of mine, but still a favorite

And also that the secret lab full of crimes they tried to hide with a nuke has their corporate logo on the front door.
I like the one memo about firing a nuclear missile on a city within the US to cover up their crimes.
An illustration of a scene. A woman in pearly scifi-fantasy armor is observing from shadowy cliffs and brambles, a view of pilgrims approaching temple gates. The temple stands tall, with colossal pillars reaching somewhere high above our vision. On the front face of the temple, a face carved on the rock is overseeing the valley with a stern look. Besides him are two marble cobras in guard, and the temple gate is surrounded by two marble figures of kneeling men, holding up shepard's canes.

I mean they know they didnβt really make an AI, but anyways.
You could also just easily flip the question around. How are some people so confident that some people created consciousness when even the experts donβt really know what that is.
I was really into PokΓ©mon Red as a kid, but my PokΓ©mon journey ended with gold. It was like, βNope. Thatβs too many pokΓ©mon.β Havenβt touched the series since.
i love having free will

This isnβt criticism by the way. The moment this series starts taking itself seriously, itβs dead to me.
Mild spoilers here, but RE9 has maybe my favorite series dumb story element where a shadow organisation tried to cover their tracks by launching a nuclear missile into a city in US soil, in order to keep their secret lab hidden or something? Iβm sure this subtle maneuver wouldnβt raise any suspicion
Also the not at all hidden tofu easter egg in rpd was great.
The plot was of course stupid, and any emotional weight was wiped clean with the typical get out of jail free card, the series is known for, but that I wouldnβt have any other way. They made RE8 ending into a bummer and it didnβt feel right.
Though what elevated Leonβs campaign from boredom was Leon himself. My girlfriend was smitten, and I found his acting cool, but not quite pulling it off sincerity as charming as it was in RE4.
Inthink it wouldβve worked better with Leon being sparsely intermixed with Graceβs events like they did in the beginning. That way it wouldβve heightened Graceβs vulnerability. The Grace part was truly the best the series has been. Leon was just almost RE6 mediocre.
