Democrats had a supermajority in 2009 and Republicans got in front of a mic at every opportunity to control the narrative and obstruct.
Jeffries, Pelosi, and Schumer aren’t doing that. They’re kowtowing to fascists. Democrats need their own tea party to create actual opposition to Republicans.
