it’s been a literal decade since i’ve worn a full face of makeup, but it’s also been a decade since i’ve felt this optimistic with regards to myself, and i dunno, it’s nice to feel like i’m regaining control and despite the rough start i feel like this is gonna be a very weird yet positive year :)

been having a hell of a time coming out of this grieving pit but im finally managing to climb out by motivating myself with lil treats, like bribing a dog with snacks, except it’s albums, bangs, and most importantly, highlighters and shimmery eye palettes… like an iridescent dog treat for the soul

when we had to throw away almost everything we owned when we moved i put my art portfolio in a massive garbage bag and put it in storage cause i didn’t have the heart to see how damaged the art was, and honestly i still haven’t checked. i hope that piece isn’t ruined- i kinda wanna make another one
