I know so many people that put their emails through cGPT so they sound professional. I can always tell because it's never their voice. Just pressing things into samey nuggets.
Computers have always brought a bit of homogeny with them, but it's getting sad. Life isn't about making the same thing.
My take is computers have always been a means to be "better." Graphic designers used to do everything by hand, then computers came along and made the hard work easier, and less prone to human touch/error.
I think some people see AI as another means of "better." But definitely not better.
Martin reminds me of an old co-worker that learned web design in 1998 and didn't need to learn anything after that...
