Exactly. And all of the intense iconography and visceral imagery were potent. Something truly beautiful.

This movie, the music, the costume design, all of it was carefully constructed and well done. I would absolutely watch this again. And the creatures desgin was a 10/10.

Just finished watching Frankenstien (2025)
Is it an accurate representation of Mary Shelly's world? No, but it's a different approach that works well for discussing how both Frankenstein and the creature fed on each other's suffering.
I cried at the end; it was so raw and captivating.

It really was!! Annnnd, Chrono, you sweetheart, thank you!! Also, Fankenstien is INCREDIBLE so far!!!

Today was so relaxing. Got a hair cut, had pizza that was simply sublime, and I got to put up my Hollow Knight LED light. Today I got to recharge and exist and loved every minute.
Closing off the evening with watching Frankenstein for the first time and some Taco Bell. 💚

And same, while I LOVE new IP's, remakes are not only wonderful to enjoy on modern hardware, but they are there for a new gen to get into.😃

I feel like this is the best case and most wholesome case of nostalgia selling. Leaf green and crystal (which is what they need to do next) where massive parts of my growing up. So this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
