This was in a comic aimed at 10 year olds. I need people who don't want to encounter big scary words in prose to get on the level of a superhero comic aimed at 10 year olds.
Frankly I doubt Hegseth even knows that's what no quarter means - it's just a badass thing he's heard action movie guys say and he's repeating it because he wants to look like an action movie guy.

I know ICC gets asked for at this show sometimes, and we did used to do it annually. But there’s a reason we stopped.
When a comic convention’s ownership/management starts caring more about size & headcount over anything else, comics inevitably lose. The industry can’t compete against film, television, video games, music. Comics become a footnote at the conventions they were founded to celebrate & made successful.
They like Trump and want to help him rule us a king, so they help downplay scandals that would've merited banner headlines for weeks under any other president
