So how do we tell the story of the destruction of government? The story of future losses *not* averted?

Elon laying off most of Twitter and the app continuing to work probably inspired these federal layoffs. Federal code legacy systems are not the same as Twitter’s codebase. Laying off those federal govt engineers will result in immediate broken services.
Today is Fork in the Road Day, and we should be thinking about legacy code all over government.
