I support Bam. Wipe Kobeβs name off that mark.

Listen, the rest of the league clowning on the tanking teams and going for history repeatedly is how tanking stops.
WAIT BAM IS DOING WAHT NOWWWWWWWWWW?!?!?!?
Fire the people who hired himβ.
At this point, I'm rooting for relegation. I have a ton of yard work to do and this team needs to clean house of everyone anywhere near a position of power.
Let's check in on the ole soccer club,,,,,
From Dan Feldman, who knows much more about the CBA than I, there is not an explicit rule that states teams should disclose investigations like this. Morally, they should. But itβs not mandatory like injuries, which begs the question why Charlotte owed Miami anything?
The possibility of Spurs having to continue juggling CL semifinal football during a genuine relegation scrap is such a funny possibility that I unfortunately hope they do the near impossible by beating Atletico
It could be very soon the NBA is dealing with another player traded while under gambling investigation. I have zero faith in Silver's ability to be pro-active about anything.
I am probably the only NBA fan who is okay with tanking (even this year), but I have to say that basically everything that has taken place since the new CVA was signed shows that Silver just isn't as effective as he was.
morally, there should have been a disclosure but I think actually doing that is thornier. They could've also been aware of the investigation, but been assured by someone (Rozier's agent, or Rozier himself, for instance) incorrectly that he would be absolved and nobody would ever know.
I think it's more complex than that. Like, are we *sure* Charlotte was allowed to disclose there was an active FBI investigation? Or the other way around, while it's morally the right thing to do, are they *required* to disclose that? Because if they do, then everyone in the NBA knows, and so do we.
Since CHO's own 2nd is owed, this is the more favorable of DEN and GSW's 2nd, so probably around the 46th pick or so. Feels like they're getting off light, but also feels like an edge case where the NBA is right to enforce a light penalty so it doesn't create a precedent.

Glad to see Jason Esteves on the air in the Georgia Dem gubernatorial race. I think he'd be the most competitive Dem vs Keisha Lance Bottoms in a runoff, and the most important thing is making sure she's not the nominee: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEFR...
Itβs kind of unbelievable that Portland has only won 6 more games than Memphis.
Looks like I have 1.2% of win equity to re-distribute to the remaining 21 players.
I donβt associate myself with the likes of Steph, but to each their own.
Plenty of them.
And Chris is right, he could be dealt straight up in the offseason for a player making double his salary, which would be useful in a one to one trade or in a fancier one.
yeah. his minimum is like twice a rookie min. There are some very weird paths the Ja trade could take, and one of them is a CP3 -> Rockets path, where he's traded this "league year" but after the playoffs, when you still need to use narrower matching rules and need extra low salary slots.
(so chalk it up as a marketing expense, if you'd like).
But signing two ways to standard contracts is how you continue to get quality two way players. If you continue to demonstrate you are a path to (or in OMax's case, back into) the NBA, then agents will trust you that you will be a good spot for their guys.
Roster crunch next summer won't be an issue. Between this contract, Gibson (both of whom might be non-guaranteed), and Taylor Hendricks, MEM has plenty of waivable/tradeable salaries. I've been less whelmed with OMax, who is making too many threes for his form.
Two year minimum deal would be for this season and next, I presume. Gives Memphis another minimum deal, less than Taj Gibson, to maneuver or waive in the offseason.
It was not. We went to N7 for early dinner and he was there. Legit looked like a panhandler in clothes four sizes too big. My friend was like, Oh, Shia is here. He'll get thrown out soon.
Walked into dinner in NOLA to see a panhandler talking to a large table and then realized it was Shia Labeouf.

Not an Isaiah Stewart level of strong if you know what I mean.
I donβt think heβs v good. The only thing he has going for him is his body, which isnβt strong enough to do what his skill level needs him to do.
