I guess... Erika's imagination is mostly tied to body-horror shapeshifting transformations? I mean, they've only been 'awake' for a few days from their cocoon with amnesia, they're still adjusting to just *being alive* still.

Mine is more related to... certain recent events and the catharsis of writing a particular... conclusion to them. Involving claws and monsters.

My wordcount was perfect, right in the goldilocks zone.
My subject matter, on the other hand, is another matter. Went darker than i usually do, and fell afoul of most of the "Immediate No" lists.

It's funny how rapidly (admittedly thin to begin with) fortunes can change so drastically with a single social media post.

So... been browsing through my #Revpit editor choices, as my top pick withdrew due to unforeseen circumstances.
IIRC, the spreadsheet of one of my other choices was different from when i last checked, and I'm out of their purview, so now I'm down to exactly one choice. My outside chance choice.

Editor Kala Godin has had to step down from this year's contest due to personal reasons. We hope she'll be back for the next #revpit event.

I don't think I've used the word chapter in my works but I went with a very diff style for WIP tech-noir urban fantasy about two socially awkward hackers with multiple IDs they hide even from each other.
