Totally appalling way to treat anyone but in this case this woman had not broken any immigration rule at all. And the British consulate were completely and inexcusably useless. Awful and I think deserves some response from the Foreign Office.

I sat in on a Safer Internet session with a group of 8, 9, & 10 year old primary students learning about AI. During the interactive session I noticed that the children could spot which were the AI generated images 100%; unlike the adults.
It was great to meet Royal Marine Commandos at Parliament ahead of their deployment to Norway for a NATO exercise. They showed us their kit and spoke about the vital work they’re doing to keep us safe in an increasingly unstable world.

I guess the question that people who believe the PM should stay on need to ask themselves is whether they'd have said the same had Boris Johnson appointed someone as Ambassador knowing full well they'd stayed mates with a nonce - and, believe me, that's exactly what most voters think Starmer did.
I fell down a Linux rabbit hole 15 years ago and eventually found the world of Mac. At the weekend my daughter asked if we had a spare small laptop for browsing and D&D. Yes, but at the same time I also unearthed a 13yr old Dell which weighs a tonne but is now very nice running Linux Mint. 🤦♂️🐧

As a (now) retired management consultant my observation is that whilst LLMs are useful as a first pass to aggregate information from across the web they are by no means the absolute. Thinking that it enables you to ditch the graduate analyst is bonkers and dangerous. Long live human education!
Correcting typos in captions and subtitles counts as “engagement” and drives the algorithm. Often its done deliberately. Like I just did there.
That alone should be depressing enough a fact to encourage you to be more like Bob.
