Agreed on my end. There may have been a conversation if his name was out there, which it sounds like it may have been. But I can’t imagine he would’ve the blockbuster on his own.

And they all feel like they know their roles. I watch the Oilers a lot in Alberta. When they’re down, it’s the Connor and Leon show. As a 3rd or 4th line player, it would be hard to feel connected. Valued.

Maybe. That said, they talk about frustration. Pride. Etc. Last night McDavid went after a guy who shot the puck at Draisaitl. It didn’t look deliberate, but he’s sticking up for his teammate and his friend. They were laying an egg and he was pissed. All night was laying the body, stirring it up.

I am not sure that Dobes is either Halak, Moog, or Fuhr. I would love for him to be, though!

Going forward for next season? That’s the interesting question to me. If Fowler is up to begin the year, do the Habs want a more veteran back up? Not saying it’s SM, but Dobes is not that.

Still sounds great. I wasn't expecting to like this album as much as I do (weight of expectations from my love affairs with her music when I was young-er)

You can just feel the gear shifting for the last 20 games heading into post-season. Focus, attention to detail, consistency. Management/coaches have to limit areas of uncertainty and be decisive, because the tone isn't 'we're just happy to be here'.

And they've been as patient and supportive as they can be this year with SM. The focus needs to shift. It is great that they feel confident enough in JF's performance (physical and psychological) to bring him up for a big game. This isn't a move in desperation.

The fact that Friedman wasn't biting when everyone knew Thomas was out there, and that the Blues were open, makes me really wonder if this deal involved multiple players or teams and a player that we had no idea was in the mix. Maybe Thomas and Kyrou coming over! Or something completely out there.

She had played in BC the night before and forgot to change her clock and was almost an hour late to get on stage (someone went to her bus and said 'yo'). She played her heart out for us that night to make amends.
