There's mtg games that are unwinnable, whether it's because of mana screw, counterspells, removal or what have you. Oops is just a lot more "in your face" about it.

Once you lose to it once, you'll know it exists, and know to keep a counter for dread return, or Endurance to evoke or whatever!

before that game came out i was telling friends "i'm gonna pirate it and donate the price tag to the trevor project" and when it did come out it looked so ass i didn't even bother with the pirating part
