I think the biggest good sign for Marathon is that it is very self selecting. it being polarizing is fine—they’re making very bold choices and they’re totally okay with people bouncing off it. It is a game for true sickos.

Going along with everything you said here, doing 2-4 practice episodes to help you get a feel for podcasting can work wonders. You get comfortable talking on a mic, begin to understand how you want your show to flow/feel, and can sort out any audio issues, all before your first real episode.

Accidentally killed a guy (because that’s what happens when you destroy explosives next to an unconscious person), but the getaway through the sandstorm was sick 🙌🏽

South of Midnight isn’t perfect, but its heartfelt story and incredible art direction make it a game worth experiencing. Give it a shot on PS5 if you haven’t already played elsewhere!

Two main challenges for Xbox w Helix:
1) If this is an expensive device at the intersection of console and PC, it had better offer /significantly/ better value than an equivalent PC
2) the 'PC as console' experience has about a million miles to go to be acceptable from where it is on ROG Ally etc

Reports indicate that it’ll actually be like the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds with an Xbox gaming experience you can bounce out of to access traditional Windows if you want. We have to see how that turns out in practice on a larger scale, but it seems promising if it can work and be easier than pure PC.

Official confirmation from #Xbox that their next system will play Xbox and PC games. Looking forward to hearing more about this in the future!

Absolutely surreal to see that Kingdom Hearts II was the second best-selling game in the US when it released in 2006, coming behind Oblivion and above Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.

• I ship Hancock x Luffy
• Strong World was fun
• Impel Down is a top 5 arc
• Marineford is a 7.5/10
• Fan Letter IS amazing!
• Eva/Bon Clay = 🐐
• The trans rep on Kamabakka is VERY problematic
• Fishman Island is fine so far

I’ll do a video on this tonight now that the official report is out, but my quick take:

Sony backing away from PC makes sense for PlayStation and how Sony views the console. At the same time, this is disappointing for the more open and free future many have hoped for.

Highguard is shutting down on March 12. It’s a shame to see it come to an end so soon after launch. I really hope the team and its developers are able to somehow land on their feet after this.

Ayeee, another June game to add to the list! I’m super into Denshattack! and can’t wait to get hands on it!
