Diagnosed at 47, one year in and I’m finally starting to understand myself.
This is definitely the same thing that happens to mothers of children diagnosed with #Dyslexia. Our kids are treated as a behavior until they break & then mom says “THEY CANT READ! WHAT PART OF HE IS DYSLEXIC DID YOU MISS” It is statistically impossible not to have a dyslexic in your family.
Bernie could have put a stop to this in 2016, 2020 & all the years in-between & since. But he has not. He could change the course of history, right now, & say, "We must all work together to defeat fascism." But he doesn't do that. Instead, he trashes the one path we have: The Democratic party.

Both federal and state law allows NYS certified school psychologists to diagnose dyslexia. Additionally, at the federal level, the law and guidance memos from the OSERS allows and encourages NYS school psychologists to identify dyslexia, share it with stakeholders, write it in IEPs documents.
