Joaquin Phoenix is so deliciously evil in this. Such a brilliant performance. One of my all time favourite films.

Legend! Loved him in Up Pompeii 👌🏻
I mean…where to start?! Without a question, one of the greatest, most complete songs ever written. Lyrically perfect. It’s a stand out track on my favourite album ever. It’s been there through everything with me and it always will be. Love. Love. Love ❤️
No doubt about it 👌🏻
Treat yourself!
This is a wonderful song. Lyrically, musically. The lyric shared by @revdaz.bsky.social is perfect. Stunning ❤️
What an album 🦚! I reckon I have a few of those…I’m sure Go Discs had postcards for Leamington Spa 🤔
I’ve started rewatching this since I went to Holmfirth over new year. It’s funnier than I remembered - Peter Sallis is brilliant as Cleggy.
I have trouble with this album (unique for CH with me). It’s a nice song but doesn’t have that high or that hook. It has a little hint of the Finn album with the background sounds, which is always a good thing. The harmonies are stunning though.
Jellyfish Spilt Milk album cover 1993. A girl stands in a music studio.
33 years ago yesterday 😩 An absolute game changer of an album. If you know… 👌🏻 ❤️
Brilliant - you could have just said ‘No’ of course 😉 It was such a great show with some hard hitting storylines.
I loved Grange Hill - incredible tv! Who did you play?
Good luck - hope all goes well 🤞🏻
Absolute cracker, this one! This went round and around in the cassette deck of my first car - a 1986 beige Mini 🤘🏻 🚙 I love Neil’s voice in this era - still has an edge to it.
Raising awareness of Blood Cancer 🩸
Fantastic day out with my class at Parliament today…bumped into this guy. He was very quiet on his plans for geography teachers. @pitt-the-younger.bsky.social
Typical! Sweeps to power with fresh, modern thinking, promises of punishing geography teachers, then robs you blind. Have we learned nothing?!
Only if my neighbours were recording it as proof of noisy neighbours 🤣 I’d wait until everyone was out, then blast out the songs - and this was one that I enjoyed. My first band was too punk (code for rubbish!) to cover this song. Alongside our own questionable efforts, we were playing Sex Pistols!
The final speech was fantastic! How did the changes come about - were different people chipping in?
I’m going to buck the trend here and say that I like this track. Agreed, it’s far from being the highlight of what is a masterpiece of an album, but I love the melody…and it was a song I loved to sing when I was first getting into my first band as a singer.
A book cover showing the leading characters. The boy on the left is dressed in a WWI military uniform. The girls to the right is dressed in a modern school uniform. Behind the is the fire and desolation of No Man's Land. Above them, to the right is the sillhouette of a hawk.
Quick KS2 question 👇
WWI historical fiction with a time-slip narrative — Year 5 or Year 6? Tin Soldiers is my debut novel, based on my Great-Grandfather's diary from Ypres.
I’m gathering teacher opinion as my school is using it as a new class text. Thanks!

An incredible song. He says he’s not a visual writer but this song creates a many images for me. “Telephone exchanges click while there’s nobody there. The Martians could land in the car park and no one would care.” I grew up down the road with a telephone exchange and a car park opposite!
Happy new year!! 🤘🏻
Wow. One of my all time favourite songs. It is just majestic. It is one of those songs that whisks me back to when I fell in love with the band. Top deck of a bus, en route to see my brother’s band in Romford. The outtro is so uplifting. It never fails to make me feel better.
Blackadder has a lot to answer for - I can’t read about Elizabeth I without envisaging Miranda Richardson, Prince Regent as Hugh Laurie and Pitt the Younger as a certain oily tick!
Feels like a gazillion years ago. My old band, Neat, rocking the Cavern Club 🤘🏻 Pre hair loss and beard growth. Great times.
Spot on - we were at Cashel Campsite. It was a great base to explore from. Hampshire is a nice county, but very lacking in mountain views!
I’m from Essex, but we have family in East Kilbride, so we venture up often. I feel different up there. Haven’t made it to Iceland but it’s on my extensive bucket list!
On the banks of Loch Lomond, taken from our campervan, after dinner on the pebbles. A few years ago now, but the memory never fades. 🏴 @ambabheg.bsky.social
It is a stunning country. My profile picture was taken at the top of Goat Fell, Arran. I’ll have to dig out a picture I took camping on Loch Lomond…incredible colours 🏴
