但是，豹貓消失與家貓到來，中間有一段空白期。
專家解釋道：豹貓的消失恰逢漢唐之間大亂世，氣候惡劣，農產下降，人口萎縮，資源緊張。同時家禽養殖從散養轉向籠養，豹貓愛抓雞的習性，狹小空間內更適合捕殺，它們就不討人喜歡了。而家貓捕鼠水平不差，跟家禽和諧相處，豹貓徹底失業。

還有美國早期女權運動也很直白地排斥黑人女性參與，比如拒絕刊登黑人女權運動家的文章/大範圍拒絕邀請黑人運動家參與女權集會。除了白女本身的種族歧視態度外，更重要的原因是這會破壞中產白女和控制主流社會的白男之間的交易：出賣平權運動的範式本身從而換取一小部分人（中產白女）的優待……總之不是self-identify女權主義者就自動獲得不反思的免死金牌，越是爭取自身利益的行動越會涉及他者的新劃分和出賣。新他者的分類標準往往延用既定的不公平結構（種族，地域/國籍，階級，受教育水平，etc.），這就是反思後的女性主義運動引入intersectionality的必要性，而不是什麼woke mindset
