Women in Science Day 2026 – the muse is still not amused!
Since 2009, the monument ‘The Muse has had it’ in the Arcaded Courtyard of the University has been a symbol taking a stand against the invisibility of women in academia. Women continue to be severely underrepresented in STEM fields.

Women in Science Day 2026 - der Muse reicht's immer noch!
Mit dem Denkmal „Der Muse reicht’s“ setzt die Uni seit 2009 im Arkadenhof des Hauptgebäudes ein Zeichen gegen die Unsichtbarkeit von Frauen in der Wissenschaft.
In den MINT-Fächern sind Frauen weiterhin stark unterrepräsentiert.
