I've been working on carbon capture & sequestration for nearly 20 yrs, and am on the board of directors of the Global CCS Institute. I co-teach a graduate course on Real World Problems of Energy & Environment at Univ of CA San Diego. I'm involved in developing net-zero-carbon hydrogen projects.
Plaque for Prof Keeling at the atmospheric observatory high on Mauna Loa. James Hansen & I visited in 2005. Inside all the atmospheric gasses are monitored & charted. One curve turns down - the one for CFCs. Hansen said, "Our job is to turn down the curve on the OUTSIDE of the bldg," i.e., this one.
