What I find interesting is that the right side decrease line appears to alternate which stitch ends up on top of the decrease, while the left decrease line is consistent.
With yarn that thick my guess is it’s just two decreases next to each other leaning in opposite directions.

Plus it was great that the women are where all the action is- we get a close up look at the rotting of their mental states as sleep deprivation and the house gets to them. The dudes are just sort of cardboard Plot Conveyance cutouts in comparison.
