Dram 1:
Palate: Drinks at far less than abv indication, sweet, buttery popcorn, again that little bit of bitterness. Mouth hold brings some heat, some spiciness.
Finish: Buttery pastry, like croissants. Quite short, but would probably layer up well.
I started this wanting to share whisky with Dad, it grew to sharing with friends and their families, then a whole community...our Club was born.
It's amazing to see how our community live this core idea that is at the centre of everything we do, sharing whisky with others.
And finally in our reveal lineup — Dram 5, Time to show some love to the dram that ended this crazy night. Give it up for this Bunnahabhain Rioja cask matured only 5 years old at 62.4% it was a meaty sorry mighty way to end the night’s adventure.

One of the smokiest Drams i've had this year.

Nearly old books, cigar tobacco, cedar, all the spice is pulling together here. Wonderful. Warming, rosemary, lavender. Underlying sweetness.

No sweetness, all spice, hickory, allspice, hint of sweetness at the back end of the finish but mainly spice.
This would make a great baster for BBQ food if melted into butter mind!

We are in the landf of milk and honey, quality street coin toffee, caramel, cream, butterscotch.

Callum's Note... Sherbet Dip with super sweet loveliness then evil licorice.
Toffee popcorn. Red ale.

Palate:
So much more going on here on the 15 than the 12. Hint of barrel char now not just oak.
Oranges, pear, peaches, leather, cigar tobacco.
Delicious and simple... maybe why I like it?
No need to analyse this one... sit back and enjoy this Xmas.

Nose:
Big step up on the nose. Rich sherry, ginger, plum, peach, hint of something floral but not as much as the 12.

Doesn’t feel as viscous as the chairmans dram, oak note is here from the off, charred pineapple, vanilla, rose water at the back. Lemon sherbet sweets, smoked almonds.

Buckets of summer fruit, feels like a mix of sherry here, PX and Oloroso with some oak casks. Figs, raisins, strawberry, almond.

Palate:
Sweet and drying all at once, viscous in the mouth despite the abv. Currents, fig, strawberry, oak at the back, peanut.
Very decent drop for Christmas if your loved one likes an oak note.
