Last one on this-- the energy at today's #StopTheCuts March felt, to me, like a combination of righteous anger + joyful resistance. When people come together to *do things*, like today's March, it manifests something powerful. We'll need more of that in the long days ahead.

Joining with other families, we marched with kiddos who chanted and carried signs and sang songs. Even in the back, it was so crowded that we often got separated from the larger group we started with. Also, marching w/kids is hilarious & SO FUN b/c they're so curious about all the signs and people!

What an incredible day in the streets for the #StopTheCuts March, with thousands and thousands of other New Yorkers. The energy was vibrant & electric. I loved the many incredible, creative homemade signs. People are in motion!!
