Your explanation on why SMB3 is low is understandable, but imo it did give us the best powerup ever with the Tanuki tail and suit.
I'm curious as to why SM3D Land is so low compared to SM3D World. Is it just the Cat Suit power up?
I beat the main story of Pokopia. It's incredible. I'm genuinely shocked that a Nier Automata-style story works so well in a Pokemon game. Either way, I loved every second of it, and I'm going to be going way slower in making Pallette Town look pretty and get all my favourite mons to live there.
Oh I take time off for games. I just don't get any new annual leave until April 😭

Just to be slightly contrarian, I actually liked the contrast of Emet Selch in Endwalker. The total story isn't the best, and I feel like there was a bit too much smushed into the story frame, but I loved experiencing Emet before the sundering.
Most of the time I'm an idiot and forget where they are. Now i'm older, i've realised i should be noting them down. I just don't like the mechanic because either way, i'm going to be getting the stuff and it's just delaying me from playing properly. Also, I'm a grumpy git 😅
One of my biggest pet peeves in JRPGs is locked chests all through the early game that won't be unlocked until you get some macguffin. Now I have to spend ages going round and gathering loot 😡
