Actually there isn’t a wall on this side of the country. The Rio Grande River floods from time to time and would wash it out.
At the east end of the country, the border is NOT the middle of the river. The mouth moves over time so there’s a permanent marker that is used. Should be on military maps!
And I heard that there’s such a thing as “military grade” GPS that has a higher resolution than what the rest of us use.
“Wheatpasted” is an interesting word.
Is this photo supposed to look impressive. Not very demure for a member of Congress.
