Child <shouts> "No, Dad: Pluto is a Dwarf Planet!"
Concept art of Rosalind Lutece's wardrobe and outfit construction from Bioshock Infinite, drawn by Claire Hummel
"concept artists can experiment with AI to make their lives easi-"
wrong
I smack you with Claire Hummel's immaculate and detailed understanding of costume design, which she got by studying historical references, which made her strong, which you will not become by relying on AI

What does prog mean? Is this prog? There should be more: youtu.be/ucRulNQsuYQ?...
Yes please!
Oh that's cool!
Friday Playlist: Lesser Known Originals that have been made popular by the Cover Version... or something. Go for it.
Interesting explanations like this is why following letterers is always an insightful experience.
Look, youβre on the edge of things and there might be a war happening and that is that is none of your business, right?

Recently begun to understand a new 'voice' - influencer voice, streamer voice, youtuber voice are all quite distinct. Mostly high energy.
In contrast: Nebula voice. Calm and whimsy. Meaningful pause. What if? None of this matters.
Google Search predictions - why is the US bombing ... venezuela, iran, yemen, nigeria, somalia, syria, boats.
This can piss off.
More brutal ones I considered, but they just aren't as cool - Man Bites Dog, Tetsuo the Iron Man

Excellent! Is there a Non-Amazon place I can get it (aside from stalking the streets of Whitley Bay?)
My crime thriller, Nine Knives, is out!
So Whitley Bay now has two published crime writers.
Ann Cleeves (Vera) and me.

I'd quite like to watch the muppet show, and given Disneys dealings with AI they've made it clear that piracy is just fine with them.
Recording a podcast next week on banned/censored comics. Does anyone know of any good recourses on comic shop raids or comics being stopped by customs in the 80s and 90s? Particularly which titles were being seized? Prosecutions?
(Ive got a bit of info on Lord Horror already)
I enjoyed both, but can never remember which is which out of Clueless and Legally Blonde, and it appears there are people on the internet who consider them not only to exist in the same shared universe, but that Cher and Elle are secretly the same person.
Newspaper Comics - remembering the dailies, the majority of comics appeared to be a reasonably standard 4 panels (the best ones, usually), with some (the less best ones) being 3 panels. Anyone have any thoughts on why the structural choice between 4 or 3?
Onfimβs drawing of himself on horseback as a warrior defeating an enemy.
Two of Onfimβs works. On the left is a copy of a passage from the Book of Psalms he did for schoolwork. On the right is an apparently autobiographical depiction of a monster labeled with βI am a wild beast.β
Some more spelling practice by Onfim with some human figures who have round heads and varying numbers of fingers on their big hands.
Onfimβs writing practice accompanied by 7 little people in his particular drawing style, who tend to have very big hands with many fingers.
Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.
Sounds amazing. My foolish brain is naturally going to Baba Is You (where rules are terrain and terrain is rules) as i'm attempting to figure out the implications of all this.
One of the greatest bollard walks in history.

I believe in you, little guy
There's unlikely to be any justice except what's absolutely required to stem the spread, but looks like he's loving being the one chosen to take the hit.
