My board game plays for February.

On days when my younger son is especially energetic, he starts using the wooden pieces for pretend play, so it’s hard to get a proper game in. But at times like that, being able to play the digital version with my wife really helps!

That’s one of the happiest pieces of news I could hear right now!!!

The translation is already done, so now all that’s left is explaining the rules to my family and friends.
I’m really excited!

Played Root this weekend. 2 Player Woodland Alliance and Lizards + mechanical cats and electric birds. My daughter's Woodland Alliance ran away with the win, bots were helpful. I was too kind for too long and didn't get my Lizards fired up. Always fun to play it with her. #boardgames #bggplay #root

Played #Root on the mountain map last night. Alliance vs. Hundreds. Mole, lizard, and crow hirelings. Exiles &Partisans deck. Tower and Forge landmarks. Rats lost their total dominance of the board, but the mice couldn't get a strong enough foothold to catch up.

Less than two weeks to go!
I’m starting to get nervous about whether everything is ready—honestly, I’m pretty anxious.

ROOT is my favorite, but with kids interrupting, I often play the digital version instead.

Smaller games are easier to jump into.

For me, ROOT expansions are absolutely essential.
The Core Game is already fantastic on its own, of course, but the expansions really take the replayability to the next level.

I’d definitely recommend giving one a try!

Me – Eyrie Dynasties – 9 VP

Turn two, my roost got replaced by a garden and I hit Turmoil…
The Hundreds rampaged through the forest!

My eldest is really mastering the Lizard Cult—there are hardly any factions he can’t play now. Amazing!

Rowdy game of Root tonight, still one of the all time greats. It’s always tough to teach friends new factions when you know the game, but fortunately Steve and Natalie are amazing sports to deal with the overhead and deal with my Lord of the Hundreds bullshit. @leder.games

This was my second time playing Aeon’s End—I had so much fun the first time when a friend let me try it.
And this time, I managed to defeat a Nemesis for the first time!

Games you always hear are popular really are that fun after all!

My 3-year-old son loves the Marquise de Cat plush so much that he even wants to take it with him on trips!
