Still suffering with the nasty cold. I plan to do some paper-making as soon I feel better.

Hi, welcome back! I did my own ostriching this week. In London? Just a couple hours away!
I wouldn't have a UK passport otherwise, though it wasn't until the early 80s that you could get it through a mother! I had to swear an oath to the Queen before an embassador because I was 15!
Same here. I'm hoping to push my work into some art galleries this year. I just need it to warm up before I start making paper. Fingers crossed for a productive and happy year for us both!
Swindon was meh as usual (though the mural/graffiti scene is still very good.) What was a sniffle in the morning has become a damn cold though. I'm off to bed.
Avebury stone circle, a ring of large stones next to a deep grassy bank. Blue skies with soft grey clouds.
Off on a double decker bus, got the front seat!
Just made pulled pork with Irn Bru. Taste wasn't bad, but what I liked best was how it coloured the meat and sauce. It did not taste of girders. Honest.
I forgot all the hashtags so people could laugh at my woes. Darn.
Browsing through Atkin's diet recipe books focusing on anti-seizure foods. Main thoughts:
1. Argh, American recipes, no I'd have to do maths to figure out stuff.
2. Apparently low carbs means no indexes, how am I supposed to find things.
3. But nooooo, my potatoes.
Descaled the kettle, put in a new Brita filter. For one week, we'll have lovely tea. Living in a hard water area sucks.
Thank you! I just posted another! I'll post a few whilst I'm in the US, then make more when I return.
Thick cream coloured paper with raw unmoulded edges. Embedded during the creation process are chips of multi colour enamel from a work created to be placed broken into the paper. There are striking shots of reds, yellows and blues. Held up to the light, the inclusions cast their own shadows in the paper.

Handmade paper. Thick, creamy white paper with gold and red inclusions. Deckled edges that foam over the sides.
Hand-made paper by me. Made without a mould, so the feathery deckled edges are visible. Inclusions of Japanese origami paper.

We repurposed a monster of a desk for the office. Had to drill a hole for the cables to make it look neat and tidy. The frame didn't allow for monitors on adjustable arms, so the monitors took a lot of space. We still kept it for a good ten years, it still waits in storage.
