Bargain on the day in my hands there
I wonder if they were made in the same mill?!
Commodore 64's don't get much more broken than this! You would need to run it over to make it worse...
Neat!
Ok mate. If they're not up to the task let me know. Won't cost anything to pop a few in an envelope.
You want some of my clips I showed recently?
That looks fancy!
I had to fix another keyboard a couple of days ago. Took just a few minutes to tear it down, clean everything, then put it all back together again. Makes a big difference. I got faster the more I practiced.
A super advanced C64 analyser cartridge.
And a brand new Commodore Repair Toolbox resource.
My life just got so much easier!
Definitely legally distinct unPACKING of some Ali Express stuff.
Everything sucks! ๐
Gorgeous!
Built in toaster!
I don't have good cheeky smile ๐
When a Commodore 64 bites back!
On the bench today.. possibly the most gorgeous Commodore ever made. I present my Commodore MAX. A rare beast, with a chequered history.
Which is the best desoldering tool for hobby level retro repairs?
I probably answer this and other questions like does a ZX Spectrum scream if you rip out it's chips?

#SuperPolygonGrandPrix update:
V0.66 is now LIVE on Steam ๐๐๐https://store.steampowered.com/app/2459860/SPGP_Super_Polygon_Grand_Prix/
Its good for smaller stuff. Those C64 keyboard fasteners are perfect. Anything a bit bigger and it might struggle. Probably not ideal for tearing down an old IBM :D
I'm fixing things with a new toy!
Do you have an Amiga A500 and want to play with acceleration but don't want to permanently modify your machine (other than maybe one jumper)?
Just fit a PiStorm to the expansion connector using a Lazarustorm board then.
In my latest video I build a board. Not difficult.
youtu.be/4ZloJLrIvzM?...
Definitely better to watch the video than ask me. I've forgotten pretty much everything :D
It's the only logical path
Most of the RetroSphere this morning upon seeing the Eurovision news.
Congratulations Sam!
My Patreon's now have access to the first )of many I hope), programming diary of a new game port to the #ZXSpectrumNext - Millie And Molly.
Enjoy!

Classy. Love it
The Roaming Spectrum has returned from its first trip around the world. It's having a brief layover in my workshop before setting off on further adventures!
This is my 4016.
I fully intend to bodge the hell out of this and upgrade that memory just to spite them ๐
