First grade, 1979… kids sang this song. I think someone made a Beach Boys parody out of it.

Relieved to know you’re safe
I mean, he's right. If the executive order says to eliminate anything with DEI in it, anyone without a soul or conscience or life experience or training or humility or empathy can cut a program described with terms like "LGBTQ" and "DEI" without any formal training.
I watched the trailer and thought the same thing and every review is like “a masterpiece!”
15 minute cities are pretty good in a gas crisis
telling my child in 30 years that bam adebayo played against vibe coders and doordashers
I feel like this must be Butterworth but that’s just an educated guess
An electorate that largely can't be bothered to pay attention to anything happening outside its borders and that's only motivated by movements in the price of gas and eggs is going to be the end of us all
Gunnar was a second round pick 🤷🏻♂️
Jumping in without reading the whole thread, but I wonder whether there a levels to all of this. Like watching reaction videos to Blazing Saddles on YouTube and seeing some people crack up at the baked beans scene while missing not-so-subtle jabs at racism. Is there a critical thinking component?
And yet, no direct flights to Toronto
Thanks @natebowling.com for capturing the success of the UAE government and the utter disaster of the US preparation/response to the current moment.

I love Manny. Should have given him Chris Davis money
FT comments section this morning - saying what everyone else is thinking, right?
Don’t worry your central nervous system is still working in the background. Sorry you or anyone else has to live through this.
It’s almost as if we should have followed decades of conventional norms and not have attacked Iran
Mark Kelly told the military not to obey illegal orders but said nothing about really REALLY stupid orders, unfortunately
There were legit reasons why prior warmongers never attacked Iran ever
I guess the "firebombing Gaza years" were just baby steps on the pathway to radicalization..
Let's modify the CSBFP to lift the cap from $1mil to $5mil/$6mil and the usage to acquisitions and working capital
I don't think SMEs are expecting 3%, but Canadians could/should expect more risk from Banks and not have to lean on BDC almost exclusively. It's tough to ask entrepreneurs to accept "no" from Canadian banks who lend all day to similar size/type businesses in the US.
Capital *seems* to be lacking in the $250k - $5 mil range. At least in the capital access conversations I'm a part of, and not just for start ups. Sure, default rates might be high for startups, but combined with working capital, commercial property and equipment and acquisitions, is it that risky?
Is 3% is in the conversation? Big banks have deferred to BDC, and BDC's rates and terms have edged higher and higher to where they're not lending at scale and their loans are not viable. The US has an entire SBA 7a infrastructure to back risk. TD did $600,000,000 in SBA 7a loans in the US last year.
I'm not sure there are alternate lending sources at scale in Canada, at least, not any with decent rates and terms that are truly accessible to the S's and probably many of the M's in the SME world. I trust you on the "sell 500k units to walgreens to sell 50k units to loblaws" case study, though.
This weekend drones and missiles were launched at my city.
This is another American war of choice.

Try googling “Tacoma Method” for more terrible stuff Americans have done to Americans and immigrants that we don’t teach
In fairness, the government DID attack America first
Here’s a best picture anyone can see when they visit Western WA and walk into any random room, apparently (seen today): no
