I saw this a lot while doing games loc! It's very normal in JP scripts (for games, at least), so many editors, VAs, and directors see it as an audience expectation. It often takes someone explicitly stating "no, we're not doing that for this title" to stop it passing straight through to the EN.

What an interesting and specific type of arrow to use to represent the ignorant, destructive raiders in their narrative.
ICE wearing bodycams is useless without strong, independent oversight that can be trusted to save/publish footage of ICE murdering people. But everyone involved is either a fascist or a collaborator, so the only footage we'll see is propaganda demonizing protestors. It's abolition or nothing.

1) Shield spell is your friend
2) Beyond that, you won't have many spell slots at low level, so try to focus on things that affect multiple targets or last for multiple turns. That way when you DO use a slot, it feels worth it
Dragon's Breath and Flaming Sphere are both fun lv2 spells for this! :)
I wish they would invent a way to focus on your work that didn't involve chugging energy drinks while listening to 5 different white noise / ambient tracks all playing at once.

Haha i get it! I just remember really struggling with that accent, specifically, as a kid. But let's be honest: if it means I finally get to visit an otter holt or join in on the long patrol, you've already got my money anyway.
The real question is would you stay true to the source material and write out all the accents phonetically, or no? Even as a diehard redwall fan, i think i'd probably draw the line at forcing players to decipher Mole dialogue :p
That "present day" interaction is so familiar to me. Whenever I'm struggling to carry a conversation I ALWAYS feel like i'm failing a quicktime event. Like if I don't find an acceptable topic before the countdown expires, i'm Losing At Friendship and everyone is gonna notice.

i'm not the best person to speak on it, but there's a whole world of voice acting, mocap, and all the people recording/directing that work that deserves its own section!

Possibly a silly question, but: is your webcam significantly higher than your head? This happened to me with a coworker recently.
