I forgot to tell y'all that our Higher Ed AI Landscape survey had over 900 respondents from more than 600 institutions. Less than two weeks until the report comes out! 🥳

It's an "I finally got this headset to work so I'm never turning it off again" sort of day.

It's good to get a head start on the inevitable.

My toxic trait is assuming my soup is goldilocks temp before putting the spoon in my mouth.

Something I find interesting is how much discourse there is related to students plagiarizing with gen AI... But then there is this uptick in researchers using it to plagiarize, and you never hear about that except in quiet spaces.

So many emails and meetings exhorting, demanding, begging us to recruit more international students, and not one single senior management figure has spoken up to acknowledge that the problem is not *us* it is a deliberate political tactic attacking us from outside. Six figure leadership, huh.

I've got to start posting here more... The other place is feeling like an old abandoned warehouse.

The last few days before the annual conference always feel like the calm before the storm.

Do any of you have committees or working groups at your institution reviewing policies that may act as barriers to student success? I also think a mechanism for students to alert us to such policies would be helpful.
