One of the problems with the Nuremberg movie is the title. They should have kept the title of the book it’s based on, because the story really is about the very flawed doctor’s experience. The film would have done better to lean in to his weirdness. It reminded a lot of Quisling.
Would be better if he broke out into song every once in a while.

I visited the Alex Pretti memorial with my friend who is in town. Some random dude asked me if I knew who the city council person was because he wanted to submit a complaint about the traffic situation. I told him to Google it. He responded that he was having issues with his phone.
It was heavy. I found it pretty unsettling. Several artists actually belonged to the Nazi party before later being labeled degenerate. Some of it was quite powerful -- especially works made just after the war. The more ambivalent examples were the most challenging for me.
