This week I had the absolute pleasure of making a custom order A4 photo book covered with this gorgeous Indian silk. The customer had bought the silk when he was on holiday in India and wanted a book to collect the photos of their trip for his partner, and sent it to me to work with.

I've signed.

The box is illuminated from within, its light casts shadows of the man onto a railway track, the track runs into a dark and damp tunnel. Outside of the mouth of the tunnel stands a ghostly figure waving its arms, one across its face the other in the air. A gloomy and atmospheric scene.

I’m making my originals for The Signalman available to purchase. I doubt they’ll ever be published and they’re just sitting in a drawer, I’d like to think that they’re on a wall somewhere (and that I’ve got some brass for them!).

I’m searching for the original and/or rights owner of this fabulous picture of Birmingham in the early 1970s. It popped up on my Instagram feed, but I’ve been unable to track it down.

Any leads? I’m really hoping to use it in a book.
