Diolch. Much appreciated.
Funnily enough, the last time I was in Wrexham town / city centre (about 3 weeks ago) I made a point of listening. & the traditional Wrexham accent seems to be much rarer than it used to be when I was in my teens / twenties.
I completely understand this article. HOWEVER I am very comfortable with my south Flintshire accent. It's part of my Identity. It reflects the history of our area. & is a genuine accent of Wales sitting proudly in the shelter of Y Ddraig Goch

I can't keep up that sort of pace at my age
It looks lovely if you don't have to go out in it. I'm just back from a walk. It's really slippy in the lanes where passing cars have compacted the snow.
I missed this. Sorry. Belated Happy Birthday. Hope it was a good one.
Hopefully you've had time to get used to being older by now.
I particularly love the photo of Pontcysyllte
