I'm (hopefully) at the end of my big run of '90s games with mystical ninja starring goemon, which sits nicely between the true early 3D titles and the more proficient ones at the end of the generation. strange empty worlds and unorthodox dungeons... check it out in the link below!
"I disliked [genre] until I played [game] and now I love it" is a much more insightful essay topic that aims at the same thing but actually hits its target because it's both an onboarding guide an insightful feedback
I'm going more insane with each difficult game that releases and the swaths of people who will aggressively judge it for not a Story Modeβ’ so they dont have to engage with the game part of games.
my toxic trait is that I absolutely judge other people's game 3x3/top 25s etc and while I keep most of those thoughts to myself, I will say the fact some of you put gacha games on yours without fear of public shaming is a massive failing of our culture
The AAA Game Industry has a weird habit of dropping a game each year in late april/early may that I'm unreasonably excited about and this year it's Pragmata. The blast of serotonin that the hacking/shooting combination in the demo gave me is absolutely nuts
Yeah this is exactly the kind of wish fulfillment game I want, can't even pretend like they didn't get my ass
There's 2 more in the rotation even
I got a giant freezer full of self-cooked meal prepped food and it always has 30 portions+ inside because you never know when of THOSE weeks comes up
instead of hyperfocusing on one or two games I devised the strategy of playing 6 games simultaneously with allotted time to each one and it feels kinda good to do it this way
Nobody ever expects the small ship on A1
this started as a shower thought and then i drew it
Finally got an idea for my own first arduino/microcontroller project that actually gets me excited and it's of course the dorkiest shit you can think of
I will hop on SoP again when I finish Nioh 3, I need a fresh fix of Jack Chaos
It's definitely preferable to be a dork in static writing instead of being one in real human interaction but it also diminishes people giving me a chance on my main dating avenue and that still sucks
The really sad thing about my online vs irl dating experience is that it makes me painfully aware that I am actually only cool once you get to know me for a bit
Loved the Pragmata demo so much I recommended trying it to everyone irl who might even be remotely interested. Just a great impression and the escalation from normal enemies to the first boss is promising in terms of how the multitasking gameplay will pan out
"the new DQ game is too frictionless" is such a weird complaint to read because people always advertise the series as these very vanilla and chill JRPGs where you can just sorta lap them up and enjoy the ride. I thought that was the whole point
It's very similar to advertising in that you can only really meaningfully think about it once you admit that you are affected too. The people who think it "doesn't work on them" are usually the best targets and can at best muster up a regurgitated surface level critique.
For those who wanted more Magenta Horizon, for those who wanted to see the limit of 2d platforming action game, and most importantly... for those who couldn't afford Nioh 3. store.steampowered.com/news/app/210...
1:30 and I ordered another Mai Tai, please send positive thoughts
Final day before PTO ends is always a wash where I just lie in bed and feel unable to do anything
every xenoblade 1 cutscene
#ScreenshotSunday #MagentaHorizon The new content update is called Call of Hubris for a reason. Does your gamer hubris beckon you to the absurd level challenges?
Me when I have to actually write to someone that seems cool and cute
Now I'm getting matches on a dating app that has normal people and I'm a little overwhelmed by having to initiate a convo lmfao
Be careful what you wish for I guess
Why do 90% of people on dating apps have "I LOVE TRAVELING" personalities and the other 10% are big Harry Potter fans to the point that they feel the need to mention it multiple times
this breakup might actually be good for me because I'm finally connecting with my true queer self (THIS IS NOT COPE I SWEAR)
