It'll certainly be my main stock when the weather's brighter, taking over from Delta 100. I think it'll pair nicely with the Delta 3200 shots I'll be taking in the gloom of winter in the UK.

Thanks, not the first time shooting this building. Working on a series in my hometown over the next year, just scouting locations to capture final images, I reckon this building will be in there. Will probably use FP4 for the final images though.

Bilbao is first on the list, and I plan to visit soon(ish). I've been told I can't visit San Sebastian without the Mrs, no chance I can go to restaurants there without her and expect to be allowed back home. Looking forward to getting on the road and exploring the whole region over several visits.

I'm pretty locked in on the location of my next photography project.

Looking back on 2024, I can't believe I only shot one roll of #ilfordphotoFP4. I can see it fully replacing Delta 100 in my bag during 2025.

I fancy home developing and converting my garage into a darkroom, but time isn't my friend in this regard. When the kids are a bit older I certainly will.

On the face of it, £2.52 is a lot of money for an image of a dog someone has scribbled on a wall. But, for me, when trying to document a location via photography, this type of image is as important as cityscapes and architectural imagery.

A roll of Ilford Delta 100 is £8.25, because of life time restraints (two kids, a 9-5 job etc), I use a lab to process my film - that's another £22.00 for development and scan.

So, each roll costs me £30.25 and I only get 12 images per roll - around £2.52 an image.

Keeping an eye out for the small details (usually written or drawn on walls) in Porto, Portugal.

I did have a X100V, which I liked a lot as a backup to my film cameras, but didn't see the huge upgrade over the camera on my phone, so it often remained in my bag and was ultimately sold.

This GFX100RF would have to be a workhorse of a camera, it'd replace the Rolleiflex, not back it up.

Fujifilm #GFX100RF will (reportedly) have a GF35mm f/4 lens, which would be about a 28mm f/3.2 in full-frame.

Now, I love shooting film and this Fuji is likely to be a budget buster. But, I'm very, very tempted by it, as I have been by the unjustifiably expensive Leica Q cameras too.

Price is key.
