Somehow I’ve been feeling kinda mentally overloaded. Like, there’s so much stuff I love and hate that I come into contact with and think about everyday. I know that’s a pretty basic experience, but for some reason it’s been making my brain feel like it’s clogged up over capacity.
I had to do a double take when I saw Enokido Youji was the head writer of GQuuuuuux. For a while, I thought he'd be solely doing series comp for Bungou Stray Dogs til the end of time. Season's almost over, and I've finally managed to catch up on almost everything I like. I haven't kept up with seasonal anime this much in about 2 years now, and I wanna get back into the swing of things.

Recommend them a different mecha series instead and save them the disappointment.

I remember seeing a couple Tetsuya Takeuchi sakuga mads years ago. Nice to see cool animators I’m familiar with develop into talented series directors. I didn’t know he directed this until now, but yeah, the sense of flow and weight in certain cuts felt very much like his style.
I love the aesthetic Koike brings to Lupin movies, but I’m seriously wondering when he’s gonna direct a non-Lupin thing again. He’s already directed 3 Lupin films in the past decade, and I’d be much more interested in what a new TV series or movie from him would look like outside of this franchise.

I didn’t expect a homemade video of the staff just working on the game and goofing around as one of the unlockables, but seeing this after getting a ton of gold medals in Secret Rings last year felt so charming and quaint.
I remember seeing an episode of this show back when it aired. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone else even mention it, though.

Honestly makes me yearn for more ridiculously hard difficulty spikes in Sonic games. I feel like it always makes for a really memorable experience if nothing else, and I love the sense of accomplishment from overcoming some deliberately absurd challenge.
Surprisingly good-looking. The colors on the character designs really pop, and the background in the second shot has a bit of a paint on canvas look to them.
