I'm so jealous. In Georgia, it's just a solid black box.

Doing the Lord's work. I have boilerplate "this is too broad" comments for when my students submit topics for a 5-7 minute informative speech. It's supposed to be a "deep dive, not a broad overview." The concept of "narrow enough to cover well" is tough for them even without the lit review angle.
And as one, they all slowly turned to look at Ross and Bret?
Sweet! Just praying it's not a prequel in sequel's clothing.
With this bonus panel, it reminds me of the "Nice Day for Fishing." Just... substitute fishing for pinecone collection.
Unpopular opinion: Nobody looks good with caterpillars on their faces.
More popular opinion: It's none of my business what larvae go on other people's faces.
Back to unpopular opinion: It really isn't, and yet I'm judging nonetheless.
Most popular opinion: I would not say this to anyone in person.
And apparently his lack of time is your money.
Speaking as your wife, @correonlink.bsky.social, COME HOME FROM THE BAR or we're going to be having a fight about how much time you spend there.
Did someone mistake Myq for a nail? Myq is kind of nail-shaped.
I'm looking at my mallet. It's a cute mallet. It adds to the room vibes. The mallet was a gift and I wouldn't know where to get a certified hammer safe. Now I'm stressing. Nobody taught me hammer safety!
One was a truck driver and the other retired from Eastern Airlines as a mechanic.
I'm very upset about this because everybody cheering means IT WORKED. He shuffled people around, didn't actually fire ANYONE, increased the "war" budget by however much her new salary is, and we're BUYING this? This is not a victory. This is a distraction. Do not fall for it.
Nothing's changed.
Are we under any illusions that this dude is going to be *any* better? From where I sit, a brand new job was just created that is likely going to add still more harm to the world, and the person taking her old job is still appointed by the same guy who majors in casual cruelty and machismo.
I mean, we have no idea if her pay is lower. I assume her benefits and vacation days, etc. remain unchanged. And now she's going to be working with security for the Western Hemisphere. Is this really something to *cheer*? And one more thing...
I really think the bar is so low for wanting to see consequences for incompetence and cruelty--ANY consequences--that we have forgotten the meanings of words. "Fired," for instance. It means "no longer has a job."
In related news, Kristi Noem is now a special envoy for a new security initiative.
This is an absolute outrage.
She shouldβve been blacklisted YEARS AGO. When I look up βfriendly fire,β thatβs been her face for over a decade. she is one reason we got Trump 1.0. Ugh.
I thought a jammy tart was a jam tart. Like a little pastry with fruit filling.
expressionlessly typing because someone is wrong on the Internet
DC's Peacemaker is supposed to be a joke.
Quite possibly... Or it might have been hoping that you would lead it to a good meal...
Who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes?!
If a bunch of people enjoyed it, it must be funny.
I refuse to like this
underrated joke
Love this. I think the current administrator will just start calling it the house of representatives instead of the House of Representatives and then ignore everything they do, but I hope Johnson's right.
Come on, Social Circle, you can do it too.
NO.
Agreed, and honestly, it's so much more compelling a tale that a girl escapes a nunnery (and is conflicted about it) than leaving... Tennessee for LA. Tennessee is a much less circumscribed place than a nunnery!
Mudcrabs are hilarious. I'm not--I mean--she's not pretending! And they look adorable in those hats! I mean, I assume they do. It sounds adorable.
Sure, but their success had nothing to do with it.
