Doing the Lord's work. I have boilerplate "this is too broad" comments for when my students submit topics for a 5-7 minute informative speech. It's supposed to be a "deep dive, not a broad overview." The concept of "narrow enough to cover well" is tough for them even without the lit review angle.

Are we under any illusions that this dude is going to be *any* better? From where I sit, a brand new job was just created that is likely going to add still more harm to the world, and the person taking her old job is still appointed by the same guy who majors in casual cruelty and machismo.
I mean, we have no idea if her pay is lower. I assume her benefits and vacation days, etc. remain unchanged. And now she's going to be working with security for the Western Hemisphere. Is this really something to *cheer*? And one more thing...
I really think the bar is so low for wanting to see consequences for incompetence and cruelty--ANY consequences--that we have forgotten the meanings of words. "Fired," for instance. It means "no longer has a job."
