The audacity to crusade against β€˜unqualified’ people while being EXHIBIT A in a lawsuit proving you don’t know what DEI means. For 200+ years, β€˜merit’ meant being born White in the right zip code. Some of us had to be TWICE as good to get an interview. But this guy? Just had to show up. 🀑🎀

It’s time to start managing expectations about not just when, but how this war is likely to end.

To that end, let me tell you about Operation Madman.

Q: β€œAre you encouraging oil company CEOs to use the Strait of Hormuz?”

Trump: β€œI think they should. I think they should use the Strait. Look, we took out just about all of their mine ships. We’re up to boat number 60, I didn’t realize they had that big of a Navy.”

They're Florsheims or some some shit. Dudes could order the same shoes in the correct size. Smart is not their thing.

So the shoegate I understand it is this:

1. Trump equals shoe size to dick size
2. Trump asks Rubio, Hegseth and the rest of the ilk about their shoe size.
3. They all yell, like 10, 11, big, huge.
4. Trump buys those for them, and they shamble around in shoes twice their size.

The money that could have given Americans universal healthcare here at home is being spent instead to murder schoolgirls overseas.

When it comes to Mamdani, NYT and Bari Weiss are two peas in a pod. Their attacks point to something close to clinical hysteria, very far away from legitimate journalism.

And if you are not that type of man, or God forbid if you're a non-man...well, you are inherently non-normal, substandard, not-the-best.

That idea has always been central to American electoral politics but has become so loud. The subtext is not just text; it's a 72-point headline.

It happens in both parties, though much more quietly among Dems. (But the DC political class fawning over the dudely dudes running in the midterms is...notable.)

Witkoff and Kushner Get an F in Diplomacy Inexperienced and overextended, Trump’s envoys have failed on three fronts.

Any serious examination of the "diplomacy" of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner comes to one very obvious conclusion: they're in it for private profit, which they exploit the name and reputation of the US to achieve. They have no interest in brokering peace. foreignpolicy.com/2026/03/03/w...

The SAVE act; Truth in advertising? If the truth in advertising rules applied to political campaigns, the β€œSave America Act” would have to be relabeled the β€œSave Donald Trump Act”. This thinly disguised bill is actually the Republicans’ latest and most expansive voter suppression bill. Remember Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Karoline Leavitt, in explaining the bill, told more lies in the shortest amount of time that would have left Sarah envious. She even tried to convince us the 80% of the Democrats agreed with one section of the bill. In short, the bill would apply more complicated and onerous proof of identity and citizenship requirements, and also does away with vote by mail except for a small percentage of the population, primarily the military overseas. This bill is so bad that even some GOP lawmakers are reluctant to support it. Please tell your senators and representatives to vote NO on this bill .

πŸ–‹οΈ β€œThe SAVE act; Truth in advertising?” hit 100 signers!

War in the Middle East is costing the region’s tourist industry $600mn a day in lost visitor spending, according to estimates from a global trade body.

Flight cancellations, airspace closures and increasing unease among prospective travellers are damaging the region’s tourism economy after Tehran launched strikes on multiple countries in the Gulf in the wake of US and Israeli attacks.

I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.

I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.

1/ Here's what I can share:

11.03.2026 01:03 πŸ‘ 17177 πŸ” 6912 πŸ’¬ 501 πŸ“Œ 922

2/ Maybe the lead is that the war goals DO NOT involve destroying Iran's nuclear weapons program. This is, uh...surprising...since Trump says over and over this is a key goal.

But then of course we already know air strikes can't wipe out their nuclear material.

11.03.2026 01:03 πŸ‘ 8251 πŸ” 1280 πŸ’¬ 29 πŸ“Œ 37

3/ Second, they confirmed "regime change" is also NOT on the list. So, they are going to spend hundreds of billions of your taxpayer dollars, get a whole bunch of Americans killed, and a hardline regime - probably a MORE anti-American hardline regime - will still be in charge.

11.03.2026 01:03 πŸ‘ 8446 πŸ” 1373 πŸ’¬ 69 πŸ“Œ 45

4/ Ok, so what ARE the goals? It seems, primarily, destroying lots of missiles and boats and drone factories.

But the question that stumped them: what happens when you stop bombing and they restart production?

They hinted at more bombing. Which is, of course, endless war.

11.03.2026 01:03 πŸ‘ 9422 πŸ” 1689 πŸ’¬ 77 πŸ“Œ 106

5/ And on the Strait of Hormuz, they had NO PLAN. I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open.

Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable.
