Q: βAre you encouraging oil company CEOs to use the Strait of Hormuz?β
Trump: βI think they should. I think they should use the Strait. Look, we took out just about all of their mine ships. Weβre up to boat number 60, I didnβt realize they had that big of a Navy.β

They're Florsheims or some some shit. Dudes could order the same shoes in the correct size. Smart is not their thing.

So the shoegate I understand it is this:
1. Trump equals shoe size to dick size
2. Trump asks Rubio, Hegseth and the rest of the ilk about their shoe size.
3. They all yell, like 10, 11, big, huge.
4. Trump buys those for them, and they shamble around in shoes twice their size.

When it comes to Mamdani, NYT and Bari Weiss are two peas in a pod. Their attacks point to something close to clinical hysteria, very far away from legitimate journalism.

And if you are not that type of man, or God forbid if you're a non-man...well, you are inherently non-normal, substandard, not-the-best.
That idea has always been central to American electoral politics but has become so loud. The subtext is not just text; it's a 72-point headline.

It happens in both parties, though much more quietly among Dems. (But the DC political class fawning over the dudely dudes running in the midterms is...notable.)

Witkoff and Kushner Get an F in Diplomacy
Inexperienced and overextended, Trumpβs envoys have failed on three fronts.
Any serious examination of the "diplomacy" of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner comes to one very obvious conclusion: they're in it for private profit, which they exploit the name and reputation of the US to achieve. They have no interest in brokering peace. foreignpolicy.com/2026/03/03/w...

War in the Middle East is costing the regionβs tourist industry $600mn a day in lost visitor spending, according to estimates from a global trade body.
Flight cancellations, airspace closures and increasing unease among prospective travellers are damaging the regionβs tourism economy after Tehran launched strikes on multiple countries in the Gulf in the wake of US and Israeli attacks.
After Trump destroyed international tourism in the US, he moved onto destroying it in the ME.

I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
1/ Here's what I can share:

2/ Maybe the lead is that the war goals DO NOT involve destroying Iran's nuclear weapons program. This is, uh...surprising...since Trump says over and over this is a key goal.
But then of course we already know air strikes can't wipe out their nuclear material.

3/ Second, they confirmed "regime change" is also NOT on the list. So, they are going to spend hundreds of billions of your taxpayer dollars, get a whole bunch of Americans killed, and a hardline regime - probably a MORE anti-American hardline regime - will still be in charge.

4/ Ok, so what ARE the goals? It seems, primarily, destroying lots of missiles and boats and drone factories.
But the question that stumped them: what happens when you stop bombing and they restart production?
They hinted at more bombing. Which is, of course, endless war.

5/ And on the Strait of Hormuz, they had NO PLAN. I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open.
Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable.
