I have another one that's paduak and maple. I'm not sure how to finish it because the oils from the paduak bleed into the maple and stain it pink. I've had to sand it down a couple of times. Not sure what to do about it.

Yes. It's curly maple actually. The figure should pop after I lacquer it.

I cook every day. I just eat out for lunch some times. It's easy, doesn't take long and is cheaper and healthier.

They didn't listen to user complaints. Now that there's an alternative offering something else they're noticing. Their platforms are so big they didn't take the complaints seriously until they have competition.

I make large pieces of wood into smaller pieces and then glue them back together into larger pieces.

Lichess puzzles have helped me improve. When you review your games you can try to guess the best moves where you make inaccuracies or blunders.

There's also a puzzle dashboard that shows areas you're weak and you can play puzzles to improve in those areas.

Yes. I watched a couple of videos of theirs before making mine and they came up when I did a search. Very cool stuff.

As simple as I thought it would be to make one there was a learning curve. I'm working on a second one without making the mistakes from the first one.

The last hurricanes knocked down a few trees. I had them milled. This is the first time I've had my own lumber milled. I think the hardest part is having to wait to use it.
