Conservatives respond to threat reduction, fairness & hierarchy. That's their psychology. These are progressive policies reworded so they appeal to conservative voters.

I want more successes like Mamdani.

We often frame progressive ideas to signal to our side not like messaging designed to persuade people. Marketing is intended to persuade people.

I dropped a few slogans and the replies were basically “why isn’t this the messaging.” So, here’s the screenshots.

Same rules. No loopholes.
Stop the cheaters.
Punish cheaters, not workers
Lower drug prices now.
Cut the middlemen.
Don’t waste taxpayer dollars.
Families first

Progressive: “Guarantee paid family leave.”
Conservative frame: “Pro-family, pro-work. Paid leave keeps people attached to jobs, helps families stay stable, and reduces reliance on assistance when life happens.”

(yay capitalism…idk)

Progressive: “Protect abortion access.”
Conservative frame: “Keep government out of private medical decisions. Politicians shouldn’t be between a family and their doctor. No more big government overreach.”

Progressive: “Raise the minimum wage”
Conservative frame: “Reward real work. If someone works full-time, they should be able to support themselves. Americans used to only need one job. Now many can’t survive or raise a family on one. This will reduce people who need government handouts”

Progressive: “Housing is a human right”
Conservative frame: “Stable neighborhoods and a fair market. When housing gets scarce, prices spike and families get pushed out. Fix supply so working people who play by the rules can afford to live near their jobs.”

Progressive: “Universal childcare now.”
Conservative frame: “Workforce stability and family choice. If parents can’t find affordable childcare, they can’t work and small businesses can’t hire. Support childcare so families can be self-reliant and employers can keep the lights on.”

Progressive: “Paid leave is a human right.”
Conservative frame: “Pro-family policy. If we say we value family, we can’t design an economy that punishes people for having babies or caring for parents. Paid leave reduces dependency, keeps people attached to work, and strengthens families.”

The idea is copy that’s progressive but packaged in conservative framing:

Climate action/clean energy

Translate: “Energy independence & national security. Let’s build American-made power so we’re not hostage to foreign oil and so storms and outages don’t wreck families and small businesses.”

Progressives are horrible at marketing ourselves.

Thank you. I've been yelling this since last year. Furthermore, 8 other women came forward. He has also been sued TWICE for racial discrimination. So, as far as I’m concerned, his defenders either don’t believe victims & don’t listen when they’re poc. Which we know, is LITERALLY why we’re here now.

There’s literally a straight line between Trump, Epstein, and the retaliatory lawsuits against women who came forward with allegations against celebrity men like Amber Heard and Blake Lively. They all even have the same PR folks. And yet people still refuse to see it

they're trying to be coy about salivating over the prospect of raping women, they'll contest that but if pushed to explain, that's exactly what they would describe. forced pregnancy of any kind, by a man or by the state, is gender-based violence

This could all have been avoided if we had just believed victims and thrown these guys in prison in the early 2000s. 🤦‍♀️

The newest video shows very clearly that they attacked him for coming to an aid of a woman that the agents pushed, and then executed him while he was immobilized. Everything the government has said, like with Good, has been a complete lie.
