I don’t necessarily blame the mostly elderly poll workers. There’s a lot of potential for mistakes. But at the very least someone isn’t doing their job if they’re not training them correctly

I wouldn’t be surprised if this leads to other intimidation and obstruction from county and state officials. I even sometimes fear I’ll be arrested, disappeared, or even “liquidated” for some flimsy excuse or trumped up charges. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if your beliefs are paranoid or justified

Hold onto your evidence and try to get good evidence to begin with. My mistake was that I didn’t talk to journalists or officials about it to begin with. You can say it’s accidental that it’s problematic but when it happens consistently that suggests there’s a problem

I have tons of similar examples just from voting today. I have more from previous elections. The worst being official letters that my votes weren’t counted bc I was registered in two different counties (I didn’t vote twice). They stopped doing that after I called the county registrar

Yet my uncle voted earlier in the day and said he told them he had his phone with them and that it was off and he had obviously visible in his T-shirt pocket. He said he had no problems voting like that

He also brought up Apple Watches (without prompting) but told people they could wear them if they didn’t have their cell phones. That makes no sense. He then said even he couldn’t have his phone with him, even though elections workers ARE allowed to have phones

Three of those people left and said something like “well I guess I’m not voting then.” Some people just put their cell phones in their cars and came back. The worker explained that it’s bc technology is insecure.

Some examples:
Today the poll worker at the door was asking people if they have their cell phone on them. When told yes, I saw about half a dozen people being told to put their cell phones in their cars. Half of those people said they are allowed to have them, which is true.

It’s a good album, more music- and rhythm-centered and overall fun.

After repeated listens in my car at loud volume, I’ve decided to rank my favorite tracks in the original album order. I’ve reversed my feelings about Champion and Me and my. Fxxxboy is currently my least favorite.
