Beautiful art and poem π«
A woman bent over, back to the viewer. Scars are on her left arm and legs and bruises on her back and legs
A poem reading 'Life demands more My cup is empty Yet life demands more My muscles are sore My eyes bloodshot Yet life demands more Another battle fought Another struggle endured Yet life demands more Broken, Bleeding, Bruised The last of myself Yet life demands more And now I've given everything Laid out on the floor And this I vow When life demands more I'll respond in kind'
Been struggling a lot lately, so here's a vent drawing and poem
It's not my place to say who this is about, but if you make fanart and the person who owns the character tries to extort you like this, *please* stand up for yourself, and don't let them bully you into giving them your art for free. They can only demand that you to not use the character they own.
Public service announcement: If someone makes fanart of a character you own, you can tell them to stop, but YOU DO NOT OWN THEIR FANART! You can't make merch using their fanart, you aren't entitled to their original files, and threatening to ruin them if they don't give you the files is extortion.
Hang in there, Violet! π
The 2026 long form census will also be the first asking about sexual orientation, and will have questions about having been homeless, as well as about physical and mental health π
Is anyone else super excited for the 2026 Canadian Census? 2021 was the first census to ask about gender identity separate from sex assigned at birth, but a lot of people were locked down with unsupportive parents, and a lot of eggs hadn't cracked yet (like mine), so I'm eager to see the 2026 data π³οΈββ§οΈ
The demo was so fun and cozy! π I managed to get out of the one place where I feared I was softlocked, lol. I'm super excited for the full game to come out later this year!
We raided @dotlovescookies.bsky.social , who's working on some similarly cozy art πΊ
I'm live for a short stream playing the demo for "Muri: Wildwoods", which looks like a cute, cozy indie game a bit like PowerWash Simulator, except you're cleaning up nature and adorable critters π» www.twitch.tv/tawnycodecat
Remember that tonight is time change for places in North America that do it. Try to stay off the roads tomorrow, if you can, and be careful! π«

Screenshot of a post by Kevin Beaumont, @GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social. "Today in InfoSec Job Security News: I was looking into an obvious ../.. vulnerability introduced into a major web framework today, and it was committed by username Claude on GitHub. Vibe coded, basically. So I started looking through Claude commits on GitHub, thereβs over 2m of them and itβs about 5% of all open source code this month. As I looked through the code I saw the same class of vulns being introduced over, and over, again - several a minute."

Xenos is live with Dolly for day 4 of her donothon, to raise money to escape a bad living situation π
Apparently @andrewprahlow.bsky.social , who wrote the #OuterWilds theme that inspired my song, is on BlueSky! π
Despite not being a physicist, I once put an end to a niche area of quantum physics research that was catching on, by proving that the analysis technique they were using couldn't work. A whole bunch of physicists had made a simple computer science / math mistake and they just hadn't noticed π€¦ββοΈ
When it comes to BL artists, my mind goes to @raedrawsstuff.bsky.social and @faecakes.bsky.social , though I don't know their availability. They both make awesome art π
I debuted the full release of my animation for Strut yesterday. Please go check it out, any help with engagement would mean so much!

Inspired by @xenosbreed.bsky.social and one of her favourite games, "Outer Wilds", I wrote an uplifting song about exploring and embracing your true self, for her birthday. My first time doing vocals, so it's a bit rough, but no regrets! π www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RR6... The cello solo was fun π€
Xenos is LIVE NOW for her huge debut at www.twitch.tv/xenosbreed She's been preparing for months π
Heck yeah! B.C. is ending time changes after the one next weekend π Now we just need everywhere else to do the same. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
Imagine how much better of a world we could have if leaders were truly concerned with the wellbeing of the people they're supposed to lead.
It certainly hasn't been easy being so vigilant, but with how my nose is like I have a cold every day, it'd be very bad if I got covid. I'm also incredibly privileged, since so many people are forced to work in-person, often unnecessarily, forced to go unmasked, or don't have access to vaccinations.
As it approaches 6 years since the first covid lockdowns here, I'm reminded how I haven't had a respiratory infection (cold, flu, covid, etc) in those years, thanks to being able to work from home, mask in public, isolate, and get vaccinations.
For my Birthday/Debut I'm trying to raise money to move out of a shitty situation that wears on my mental health
I need to repair my car and build up first and last month's rent rent so I'm aiming for 3k and adding some lil rewards
Thank you all so much <3

Ah! Good to know that's why BlueSky was glitching out when I replied to it πΈ Y'all got this! There are so many supportive vtuber artists on Twitch and BlueSky π
Every few years, I end up implementing Dijkstra's shunting yard algorithm again, for parsing expressions like this, a bit different each time, sometimes in different languages. It's a pretty handy thing to have in the toolbelt π
I hope that your interview went well, Bucky! ππ«
