I would like to see Pritzker and Newsom declare a state tax receivership fund whereby citizens pay their federal tax liabilities into a state-run escrow account rather than directly to the IRS.

The state can hold these funds in trust for the federal government until Trump obeys the Impoundment Act.

I believe ICE specific funding under DHS was already “approved” in the Big Beautiful Bill for the year. The funding in question that is now paused is for things like TSA. For now… Ice is not slowing down.

The false accusations of their opposition are never in search of a moral high ground, it has always been about validating their own behavior.

Husted took donations from Epstein co-conspirator Les Wexner, then voted to block file release Campaign records show Sen. Jon Husted took $116,892 from Les Wexner since 2001, including months before voting to block release of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents.

Examples of "the best government that money can buy" are becoming more depressing. Ohio Republican Senator Jon Husted accepted more than $115,000 in campaign contributions from Les Wexner, one of 6 people listed as Epstein's co-conspirators, and then voted against releasing the Epstein files.
