那天，龔玨在現場給我發來照片：他和監察﹑抗議ICE的當地民眾一樣，戴著3M的防毒面罩－－兩邊有桃紅色過濾棉，我們在某年之後已經很熟悉的那一款，用來阻隔ICE用來驅散記者和民眾的催淚彈。他採訪了明尼阿波利斯抗議現場越南餐廳的華人老闆，那位老闆在Pretti被殺當日打開餐廳大門，讓民眾有個安全的地方休息。說話夾雜著英文和廣東話的她，在談起餐廳外橫飛的催淚彈時，說不知道「tear gas」的廣東話怎麽說。龔玨憑著2019年觀看香港社運直播時的記憶，用「唔鹹唔淡」的廣東話回答：ceoi leoi daan。
