A breezy, charming and pulpy OVA whose lighthearted tone and brisk pace makes for an entertaining casual watch. Remarkably smooth animation throughout; kind of the ideal "laidback movie to watch on a rainy Thursday" to strive for.

GACHIAKUTA (SEASON 1)
Some tonal issues aside (namely Gachiakuta's occasional inability to take itself seriously, even when it wants you to), Gachiakuta is a striking and surprisingly leftist piece of post-apocalypse fiction with a fantastic magic system and an immediately compelling world.
