Actually, a couple more:
- don't feel obliged to pay attention to hawkers, they will sell hard but it's just their job
- if you eat and drink there, keep tally bc its easy to overspend
- grab business cards - sometimes stores will have better prices online and you can patronize them later, not now
Idk what your area's renfair is like amenity-wise, but the most important stuff:
- bring a refillable water bottle
- comfy shoes, no matter your look (no garb is OK!)
- when you get there MAKE NOTE of where you parked
