It's just a lot of dystopia to process every goddamn day.

Hereโ€™s what people arenโ€™t getting:

AI chatbots arenโ€™t a writing tool. Theyโ€™re a plagiarism tool.

The same is true for AI that generates images.

So, not only is the chatbot stifling a userโ€™s creativity, itโ€™s robbing from othersโ€™ and then encouraging the user to take credit for whatโ€™s been stolen.

Talk to mainstream media.

Look prime ministerial.

This is definitely a new non-Jenni Byrne strategy.

They tried a few months ago too.

So you know things must be really bad.

Ford has been passively cutting hospital funding.

"hospital costs are rising by 6% a year, which, in the 2026-2027 fiscal year will amount to $2.7 billion in new expenses. The province increased health funding by 4% last year, but is expected to increase it by 2% for the next 2 years."

โ€œIt is kind of zombie policy to think we can efficiency our way out of these structural pressures that are rooted in demographic change in the province,โ€ said Anthony Dale, president & CEO of the OHA. โ€œItโ€™s just unrealistic, & itโ€™s starting to affect the underlying financial health of our sector.โ€

Six years ago WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Despite tens of millions of deaths, the world has not sufficiently addressed the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, and we are more vulnerable to future pandemics due to anti-science officials leading government agencies around the world.

That's odd. I find it hard to believe that the TTC didn't know the cause.

There was a bad fight on the platform at York Mills and I believe power was shut in case someone ended up on the tracks.

A man attacked a young woman for playing music too loudly. That's what started it. Awful.

For folks who don't know, JTF2 members are like Marines on steroids. Highly, highly trained and their work is highly secretive.

They're basically trained to kill people and keep secrets.

In a sane world where misogyny didn't exist, that would be a factor in favour of victims. But N O P E

I have a million thoughts but I'll say this : Men's suffering is *always* treated as more important than the suffering of women.

Sexual assault survivors actually have the highest rates of PTSD in the world, but that never gives us pity or leeway.

Men on the other hand? Kid gloves.

So, a small elementary school desperately needs more education assistants.

The 20 teachers pool their $750/class (NB this is NOT ALLOWED) to have 750 x 20 = 15k.

Is this enough for even 1 EA?

NO.

Always do the math with Ford.

And here's the thing, Queen's Park beat and education reporters *had to* cover Ford's teacher spending account announcement. Please don't come into my mentions to criticize journalists for this.

11.03.2026 20:49 ๐Ÿ‘ 3 ๐Ÿ” 2 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

You want to understand the timing of Ford's $750 classroom spending account for teachers announcement today? THIS is it. It's absolutely, 100% not a coincidence. Ford and his handlers wanted to own the education news cycle.

So cynical. It's gross.

Alberta Wonโ€™t Budge on Charging Indigenous People for COVIDย Vaccines Though health advocates argue the province's $100 fee amounts to a treaty violation, the federal government rebuffed a request to step in, pointing out it's still free on reserves

Alberta has refused to exempt Indigenous people from the $100 fee for COVID vaccines.

And though health advocates contend that amounts to a treaty violation, the federal government won't step in.

There is an argument to be made that ICE activities, especially in relation to persecution and imprisonment, are reaching a scale and gravity that they constitute widespread and systematic harms, and therefore crimes against humanity.

Again, instead of dealing with his systematic underfunding of education in Ontario, this is about Ford looking like the hero who is fixing a problem with education.

He's going to get so much earned media for this announcement. Just like this.

This is a PR sleight of hand.

The U.S. was responsible for a strike on an Iranian elementary school, an ongoing military investigation found. The inquiry said the strike โ€” which Iranian officials said killed at least 175 people, most of them children โ€” was the result of a targeting mistake. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/11/u...
