My sadly departed Bella, when I lived in Stockwell, sat beneath the nest which a bird had made in an air vent and systematically slaughtered the young family, one per day, finishing with the mother. Along with (mostly) dead rats, she earned the nickname Slay Bells! She did slow down a bit with age.

Same here. Sometimes people tell me I'm talking loudly, especially in a noisy environment, but it seems normal to me.

Do you still have an aerial for the TV? If so, then Freeview should be available and is what I use.
Freely is more or less the WiFi version of Freeview (there's no on-demand option with Freeview) and needs to be included with the TV.

Surprisingly the heating is still working, most of the time, which was unexpected when the problem first surfaced.

Currently without hot water here awaiting parts for the boiler and a slot for the engineer to return and fit them! The shower at work has been standing in.
Fitting a new cold-fed shower is on the list but needs a new electric consumer unit as I still have old school wire fuses.
